Nuit Blanche
Most of the people living in Brussels will know the “Nuit Blanche” concept. Otherwise check this site: www.nuitblanche2006.be. The coordinators of this project have launched a call for ideas for the edition of 2007 which will take place on Saturday September 29th. Theme this year is ‘The 7 Sins of the Capital’.
Last year there were plans with the Keep On dudes to do something but due to too little time to put something together nothing happened. Anyway I think it’s a good opportunity to join forces between some of the likeminded organisers in Brussels. Look for a public place and organise a little party. Something funky. Bringing people together.
Ideas need to be send to the administration of the city of Brussels before March 30th. They select the 100 most original or relevant ones and provide support in the form of communication, coordination, logistics and in some cases even financial. Anyone interested in trying to put something together for this ?

The only thing I can come up with, this moment, is that we should find a funky space somewhere in Brussels we normally would never get and that we join forces to het things rocking … maybe an oldskool blockparty, Bronx-stylee … with a massive soundsystem somewhere outside and different soundsystems battling like Bam, Flash and Herc did … without the gang violence off course … an afternoon party
can’t imagine a link with that stupid theme but I know some copywriters who are creative enough to come up with something

fridaynight at PP’s café … 21h ? … the man called Djé Athlétic is playing his finest jazz tunes there … a nice soundtrack is always a big plus when storming your brain

I’ll be there. Finding a cool venue will be difficult though, because it has to be situated in “de vijfhoek” if I got it right.
