The first weekend of May JH Eenders will celebrate its 13th anniversary. On Friday with some Hiphop concerts and a ditto party. There will be gigs by Brussels group Le Rezo, Limburgs finest N.O.M. and Pita, the sole Belgian Hiphop artists popping up in the mainstream every once in a while. I don’t think Leki and that black guy from Leuven are Hiphop by the way. The party will have Vega and Onda Sonora’s Disco Dalglish as hosts. BLA won’t make it. He needs to be somewhere early Saturday morning.

On Saturday there’s a contest between some local youth organisations in the afternoon and another party at night. It will be one of JH Eenders infamous “Mix the dj’s”. A party where all regular dj’s of the youth centre will play with each other but not in the usual formation. Not Disco Dalglish and BLA together but in tag team mode with other dudes playing entirely other music. It’s one of the few times we get completely politically incorrect musically.
