Festivals
Anyone going to Dour on Saturday the 14th of July? It’s the only day I’m going and I’m looking for someone who’s making the trip from Brussels / Halle and back that day. Disco Dalglish will be staying in Dour the whole festival but I’m way older and not fit anymore to do just that. And I’m planning on going to Blue Note / 10DaysOff too. Will go and see Cinematic Orchestra (need a ride for that too although I always can sleep over there if I need to) and Allen Toussaint (going with the folks to that).
Feel free to use this space to organise some carpooling to the festivals. Adding our share Kyoto ish.
In our "do some foreign festivals" trip we’re going to Nothinghill Carnival this year. Disco Dalglish has been raving about that a little too much for me to stay home this year at the end of August. Saw his pictures of immense soundsystems and stacks of speakers. I need to see and feel that myself.
