Typhoon – Tussen Licht en Lucht
Dutch spoken quality Hiphop, it’s quite rare. You’ve got Opgezwolle, Jawat, Opposites and Jiggy Dje in the Netherlands. Mellow P and Rasss in Belgium. Can’t dig much else. But now Top Notch, the prime Dutch label in this genre, released Typhoon’s debut and it’s strong enough to add the kid to this list. Still not on the lonely height where Sticks, Rico and Delic from Opgezwolle reside but well enough to stand in their shadow.
