Only a few days away from musical heaven. We’re leaving early Thursday morning. 4 days of partying. Glad I’ve been swimming regularly resulting in a way better physique than a few months ago. No crashing at 4am Sunday morning missing Ron Trent, Osunlade or Joe Claussell in the process. Really looking forward to seeing Karizma (he was mindblowing in Antwerp - at SP they usually are better), Leroy Burgess, Marley Marl (next old skool legend I will have seen - only 246 to go), Sounds of Blackness, Al Kent, Henrik Schwarz and so many more. Especially looking forward to seeing and hopefully meeting some cats who have crossed our paths before like Rainer Trüby, Phil Asher, Aaron Ross end Mad Mats. And seeing our overseas party buddies like Phil Cooper, the Diep Huis crew and more. Hyped already.

A lot of people have told me they want to join us for the next one. No problem. We’ll book one of the weeks to come. Just mail me so I can coordinate and help. Because I’m not going to make the booking for everyone. You can’t expect me or anyone else to pay in advance for 20+ people. Haven’t got that kind of money.  But if we bundle the people in smaller groups and find partyleaders for every one of these groups, booking will go smoothly.

And for those of you wanting to know who will play at the 42nd edition of Southport in November. Got to advice you not to wait until they announce the roster. It will be sold out way before they announce even the first artist. Usually it’s sold out 4 months in advance. Read, in max 2 months that is. You can check what’s coming at this edition on the site. It will be just as good next time, no worries. Dates and prices for next edition are on the site too.
