This Weekend
Plenty of funky things to do this weekend. Off course there’s the Antown Trix event but there’s more. And what’s cool if you live in Brussels, there’s no need to leave the city. Which is nice in these times infested with controls for drunk driving.
Friday there’s the last party of the year at Café Bota with 3 good friends of ours; Eleven (from Strictly Niceness), 72Soul and Cris Prolific. If I don’t get in Antwerp I’ll give that one a go.
Saturday Eleven and Kwak from Strictly Niceness play in the Café of Dirty Dancing at Le Mirano. Never checked those Dirty Dancing parties out so there’s a good chance I’ll pay them visit. If you like your stuff a little more Mod-style there’s Souligan’s Going Underground night at Churchill’s.
If this doesn’t satisfy your needs there’s always the possibility of wrapping gifts and baking cookies for everybody.
Mirano is echt wel een foute discotheek in de zin van snobstreken. Mensen niet binnenlaten zogenaamd om dat ze sneakers & jeans dragen is me daar al twee keer voorgevallen terwijl alles wat ik droeg fuckin nieuwgekocht was en ik zelfs een blazer aanhad. Mij krijgen ze daar niet binnen al wekken ze Larry Levan op uit de doden en laten ze hem daar gratis spelen. Weze gewaarschuwd…
