Party moments
- The Karizma experience at Stereosushi and Southport – long time since I’ve been blown away like this by a DJ.
- Phil Asher at Inspiration Information – utter niceness musically and socially – confirmed the feeling that what we’re doing with Onda Sonora is the right thing, that we chose the right path.
- First 3 a 4 hours of Norman Jay’s Good Times sound system at Nothinghill Carnival – goose bumps when you hear Nina Simone early in the afternoon on that sound with the sun shining while sipping on a Red Stripe.
- Party in our chalet Sunday night at Southport 41 – proving a good party needs nothing more than good music, nice people and some booze.
- The Sands Thursday party – all those fine classics and lots of people with a real hunger for a superb party.
- Dixon at Southport 40 – what a groove.
- “What’s going on” ending Southport 40 – best hands in the air moment of 2007
- Meeting Benji B and hearing him play at our party – proving my point that excellent dj’s usually are great persons.
- Playing at Strictly Niceness – our best party behind the decks this year.
- Playing at Secret Sundays – really enjoyed it although it was for very little people on a Sunday.
- Playing / dancing at Brekbit’s home parties – wild bunch of music loving people and booze (Polle’s homemade punch) again being a good recipe for a superb party.
- 2 days of Rainer Trüby – Thanks Nick for the nice weekend.

- Swimming – I’m crap at it but I love it.
- The Schaarbeek Posse – Probably the best thing that happened this year. Having some of my best friends close by.
- Sharing booze and words with people from around Europe on the parking lot of the St-Paul Soul Jazz festival (which was not really good itself). Lovely weather, lovely people.
- My Portugal trip – Nice city, nice architecture, nice food.
- My closest friends – A bunch of very nice guys and girls.
- Brussels getting a little funkier – Strictly Niceness taking off, the Tavernier parties, Lefto finally coming home, … . We lost a good shop though, a shame.
- Diggin’ crates at Rushhour, Sounds of the Universe, 12” Records, Lost In Music, Wally’s Groove World, Record Collector, United Music, Music Man and Honest Jons. All good shops, all sold me some überfine goodies.
- Getting my portable turntable.
- Seeing Alex Castelein slowly growing up.
- Finally going to Viva M’Boma – Shame on me I didn’t get there earlier.
- Discovering a Chinese take away close near where I live.
- Eating at my parents on Sunday. Superb food and wine.
- Ending crate digging trips at ‘t Kapiteintje.
- Feeling good for most of 2007.
- Enjoying this Blog a lot. And seeing it grow and gaining readers slowly but surely.
