I wrote what has to be the defining essay on partying in Brussels as an introduction to this post. But I’ve deleted it. Because it would bore you to death and, most of all, because we’re not doing this party for philosophical reasons. We just want to have fun. With a lot of nice people around us. Words would only get in the way of that.

So the first party in Brussels will be all about bringing the good times we had and have in Halle to the capital. The city can use it. So can we.

The concept will be very simple. We will play some of the best music we know, you all dance your asses off. We, Onda Sonora Soundsystem, will take you on a musical ride from start to finish. Warming you up, bringing you to a climax and closing it off so you can head home tired but with a smile. David Mancuso style. Expect a mix of the genre’s mentioned on the flyer and more. With as common factor that it will be Deep, Raw and Soulful.

Be sure you know for what party you are coming or else you won’t get past the bouncers. Mentioning “Go Bang!” or “Onda Sonora” will do. Bringing a flyer with you is the safest option (you never know your brain goes blank intimidated by the bouncers).
